Pictured is the new anti backslap attachment that we here at James Saddlery have designed. The attachment strap simply slips over your flank girth dee and the adapter attaches to the strap. This allows the attachment to pivot around to the exact direction of your girth system without placing stress on your saddle or flank dee. 

The Anti Backslap attachment

The Latigo Strap comes down and passes through the buckle from the rear

It then passes through the adapter buckle from the front

It then goes back to the buckle and passes through from the rear

It then buckles up

Excess strap goes back and passes through the holder that is standard on James Saddles
