Description
Glen Gardiner has released an updated version of his reproduction of the famous 1912 UP Military Saddle in its original issue colouring of light tan.
He has also managed to source jute like webbing for the seat which is a closer approximation to the original than the white nylon he has used previously. In the past Glen has produced the 1912 UP saddles in a darker colour making it easier to match original saddles being used in most reenactment troops that have aged and darkened through use over the past hundred odd years. In response to several requests Glen is now also making these high quality reproductions of the 1912 UP Military Saddle in their original issue colouring.
Glen has maintained the quality that he is getting a reputation for, using high grade leather in this case English cowhide, sand cast metal arches, solid brass fittings and hand crafted timber runner boards.
